It is used to seal of cracks or opening where pest such as rodents can get in for a permanent seal. Uses of extra products such as staples or glue to finish off the job. The pure Copper interlocks in loops and can't be taken apart like steel wool, leading to better results. If rodents try to chew through the product it will get stuck in their teeth making it impossible. With the non rust product, there are no worries of rusting on bricks, wood, or siding. It recommed to get proper repairs done if the openings are greater then 2".
